LG38 Fx

LG38FX is an affordable solution for in line automatic measuring of wood moisture content. LG38FX can create reports and perform automatic material selection, discarding elements out of tolerance. It is particularly suitable for applications where a high measurement speed is not required and the flow of the timber can be arrested for a few seconds. It consists of a in line meter (panel version), a temperature sensor (for the automatic compensation of the measured values), an electrodes holder to be applied on a piston (not included) for the electrodes insertion and a PC software. The system must be applied on a mechanical device (not included) able to stop the timber's flow for the time necessary to measure, to stick the electrodes and to provide a "measure valid" (electrodes positioned) signal to LG38FX. When LG38FX receives the signal, it measures the moisture content into the sample, it activates (or not) the "out of tolerance" relay, and then it transfers the data as ASCII string to the PC. The PC software displays the measured value and records it into files compatible with the most common spread sheets.
